Gene Peng

Gene Peng is a Senior Software Engineer and Architect at Student.com since February 2016, specializing in the design and development of high-availability applications using micro-services and cloud infrastructure on AWS, with expertise in various technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, MySQL, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, Redis, MongoDB, and CI/CD tools. Previously, Gene worked as a Software Engineer at HP from May 2009 to February 2016, focusing on desktop and web application development using PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and .NET for both Linux and Windows Server environments. Gene also gained experience as a Software Engineer at Augmentum, developing e-commerce web applications on a LAMP stack between July 2007 and May 2009.
