Position Description

The Residential Project Administrator ensures projects stay on track by managing interconnection approvals from utilities, responding to comments, and maintaining project and customer databases. They communicate with customers at key stages, monitor energy production models, and use tools like spreadsheets and PowerPoint for organization and training.

Responsibilities

  • Move job statuses in Salesforce database system. Advance statuses when key milestones are reached such as AHJ inspections passed and permit closeout.

  • Owning the relationship with the utilities. Submit for interconnection, respond to comments, check in on project approvals, ensure solar and/or battery project obtains permission to operate (PTO).

  • Build and review energy production and management monitoring portals for solar and battery systems for each customer/project.

  • Create and finish owners manual comprising as-built plan sets, signed-off job card, major materials specification sheets, major materials warranties, and other important information.

  • Apply for and obtain extended warranties for customers, as appropriate.

  • Schedule and conduct video-conference customer walkthroughs and job closeouts.

  • Complete residential SLP job closeouts, ensuring all paperwork is complete, project has passed inspections, obtained PTO, and customer questions are answered and entirety of job is closed out.

  • Supporting SLP admin in fielding potential customer inquiries and qualifying customer leads

  • Job contract reviews and comparisons

  • Manage internal employee training records, safety records, and new product rollouts and trainings

Experience and Qualifications

  • Detail oriented and thorough in task execution

  • Ability to stay organized in dynamic conditions

  • A proactive self-starter who stays motivated and focused, excelling without the need for constant supervision

  • A strong work ethic with a positive, solution-oriented attitude and a commitment to delivering precise, high-quality results

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally with customers at all times

  • Commitment to consistent improvement and process efficiency

  • Proficient in using cloud-based file management, email platforms, Salesforce, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint to efficiently complete tasks

  • High school diploma or equivalent

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
