Greg Janes

Greg Janes has extensive experience in environmental management and safety, currently serving as the Manager for Environment, Health and Safety at Suncor since December 2006. Throughout tenure at Suncor, Greg has held several key positions, including Team Lead roles in various areas such as Environment, Regulatory and Security, and EH&S Process Enablement. Prior to Suncor, experience includes working as Service Director and Environmental Management Consultant at Jacques Whitford from October 1999 to December 2006, and as an Environmental Management Consultant at Phyper & Associates from February 1998 to June 1999. Academically, Greg holds a Master of Applied Science in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, both from Memorial University in Newfoundland and Labrador.
