Tom Tull

Mr. Tull is a member of Strategic Value Partners funds’ Advisory Council and primarily involved in furthering the North American franchise with a focus on Investor Relations.

Mr. Tull has over 40 years of investment experience in both private and public markets and was most recently the Chief Investment Officer of the Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS). In that role, he was responsible for managing the state’s $36 billion public pension plan. Prior to joining Texas ERS, Mr. Tull was the Founding Partner of Gulfstream Global Investors, an international equity management firm sold in 2001 to German state-backed financial institution WestLB.

Mr. Tull serves on several boards and committees, including San Manuel, FINRA Investor Issues Committee, Long Center Endowment and Dallas CFA Advisory Board. He is also a Vietnam veteran.

Mr. Tull received a BS from Ohio State University, an MBA from Xavier University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
