Mariel Marcus is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate and real estate law. Currently serving as a Deputy GC Member at TechGC since April 2022, Mariel previously held the role of Director of Legal at Common, leading legal and compliance for North American operations in a global real estate management firm. Prior experience includes significant positions at Empire State Development, where Mariel managed a variety of corporate and real estate documents, and various internships at prestigious firms such as CHANEL and Thomson Reuters, focusing on intellectual property and patent matters. Mariel holds a Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Judaic Studies from Franklin & Marshall College.
