Katherine Withers

Katherine Withers is an experienced legal professional with a focus on environmental and energy law. Currently serving as a Higher Education Legal Fellow at Texas Christian University since September 2024, Katherine's prior roles include Graduate Law Clerk at Greater Chicago Legal Clinic, Inc., where support was provided for Baker McKenzie's pro bono environmental efforts. Additional experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at Chicago Kent College of Law and various legal clerkships, including a Summer Law Clerk in Regulatory Affairs at the Solar Energy Industries Association and as a Guardian Ad Litem with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services. Katherine holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Chicago-Kent College of Law, a Master’s degree in Environmental Geography from King's College London, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Geographic Science from James Madison University.
