Jakson Luk is a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Francis Crick Institute, where research focuses on applying stem cell technology and tissue engineering to develop advanced pulmonary disease models, particularly for studying multidrug-resistant infections and inflammatory responses. Previously, Jakson served as a PhD Student Researcher at Institut Pasteur, working with Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium and human cell culture to explore host-pathogen interactions through various interdisciplinary techniques. Jakson holds a PhD in Infection Microbiology from Pasteur Institute, an M.Phil. in Life Science (Molecular Medicine, Developmental Genetics) from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and a BSc in Biochemistry and Microbiology from The University of Hong Kong, along with a High School Diploma in Science from St. Joseph's College, Hong Kong.
