Yulia Sudarikova is currently a PhD student at The Francis Crick Institute since September 2022, under the supervision of Dr. Mike Devine. Prior experience includes an MRes research project at UCL from October 2021 to September 2022, supervised by Prof. Josef Kittler, and a summer research project at First Moscow State Medical University in mid-2021, supervised by Dr. Tatyana Strekalova. Yulia's research has focused on the behavioral effects of chronic antidepressant treatments and the effects of antioxidants in FUS mutant mice, utilizing various methods including mouse work, RNA extraction, and qPCR. Earlier research includes projects at the University of Oxford, where neurochemical effects of SSRI treatment in mice were investigated, and validation work on a novel expression vector. Educational qualifications comprise an MRes in Biosciences: Neuroscience from UCL and a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from the University of Oxford. Yulia has also served as a Subject Ambassador at Corpus Christi College Oxford.
