Jonathan Acevedo is a Ph.D. student at The Lundquist Institute for Biomedical Innovation at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center since October 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Chemical Dependence Technician at Park Avenue Center, where responsibilities involved medication supervision and care coordination. As a Lead Researcher at the University of St. Thomas from June 2020 to October 2021, Jonathan led a research project on the effects of ketamine on behavior in mice and developed proficiency in various lab techniques. Previous roles include coaching youth soccer and working as a Research Assistant at the University of St. Thomas, contributing to a study on methamphetamine's effects, which led to a publication. Jonathan holds a Bachelor's of Science in Neuroscience from the University of St. Thomas, completed in 2021.
