Morris Lyness

Morris Lyness is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the energy sector and information technology. Currently serving as Principal of Energy Transition at TRC Companies, Inc. since August 2024, Morris has previously held significant roles including Director and Head of Enterprise Technology and Cybersecurity at EWEC from April 2021 to December 2023. Prior to that, Morris contributed to GE Renewable Energy as a Market Systems Expert and managed Central Systems and Services at EirGrid PLC, playing a key role in the establishment of a new wholesale electricity market in Ireland. Additional experience includes IT Manager positions at SONI Ltd and Bedeck Limited, as well as earlier roles as a Systems Analyst and Software Manager. Morris holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from Ulster University.
