Bastian's academic background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen Produktion & Logistik from Cologne University of Applied Sciences, completed in 2014, along with vocational training as an IT-Systemelektroniker at Deutsche Telekom. Early work experience includes a role as Werkstudent at Siemens Enterprise Communications GmbH & Co. KG.
