Jeff Wecker is the Chief Technology Officer at Two Sigma, where he oversees a team of 900 engineers, technologists, data scientists and researchers. Mr. Wecker comes to Two Sigma from Goldman Sachs, where he served as a partner and the company’s first Chief Data Officer. In this role, he established the company’s enterprise data strategy, formed its first Data Intelligence and Data Engineering departments, and established data offices across Goldman’s divisions.
Jeff Wecker is a co-founder and advisor to Jupiter Intelligence, a climate and weather risk data science firm, and a co-founder and advisor to Datamarx, a start-up focused on enhancing consumer privacy permissioning. Mr. Wecker holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Princeton University.
