Alan Pich is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering management and platform development. Currently serving as the Director of Platform Engineering at UnderwriteMe since June 2025, Alan previously held the position of Senior Engineering Manager at WeTransfer, where Alan expanded the Core Services team to establish an AWS-based API platform for the company's products. As Technology Director at EMIS, Alan transformed the consumer-facing capabilities of Patient Access into a platform for integration across applications. In the role of VP of Engineering at Patient, Alan managed engineering practices for a team of 80, balancing technical delivery with NHS governance, and also served as Lead Service Architect, focusing on strategy and compliance during cloud migrations. Prior experience includes working as Lead Developer at Native Design, where Alan was instrumental in developing prototypes such as the Ford Autonomous Vehicle Simulator.
