Virginia de Lima retired from a career in water resources with the U.S. Geological Survey currently living in West Hartford, CT. She worked as a groundwater hydrologist and manager in the USGS Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut Water Science Centers. Virginia also conducted research on the water contamination case in Woburn, Massachusetts in the 1980's, which lead to the book and movie "A Civil Action".
