Joshua Dillon is a PhD student at the Auckland Bioengineering Institute, focusing on research involving fully automated, accurate, and equitable biventricular modeling from echocardiography. Prior to this role, Joshua served as a research assistant in the Heart Mechanics Group, specializing in modeling the right ventricle using deep learning techniques. Concurrently, Joshua is a teaching assistant in the Department of Engineering Science at The University of Auckland. Joshua also has experience as a tutor at Crimson Education, where instruction was provided in NCEA and Scholarship Physics, Math, Biology, and English. Joshua completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at The University of Auckland from 2019 to 2023.
