Logan Ritchie

Logan Ritchie is a dedicated researcher and engineer with extensive experience in bioengineering and advanced materials. Currently, as a PhD student at the Auckland Bioengineering Institute since June 2021, Logan focuses on dielectric elastomers, soft functional materials, functional nanocomposites, percolation theory, and computational modeling. Concurrently, Logan works as an Advanced Materials Engineer at PowerON - Smart Elastic, specializing in the research and development of novel soft electronic devices. Previously, Logan held the position of Systems Engineer at Macro Automation from April 2019 to March 2021. Logan holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from The University of Auckland, expected in 2024, and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechatronics Engineering from the same institution, completed in 2018.
