Jake Lavin

Jake Lavin is an accomplished real estate professional with extensive experience in leading major transactions and development projects across various sectors. As the Director of Real Estate Services at the University of California Office of the President since June 2018, Jake manages a team of six real estate officers, overseeing significant transactions such as ground leases and donor development projects. Prior to this role, Jake served as the Director of Forward Planning at Robson Homes from January 2005 to May 2018, where responsibilities included overseeing multi-family and commercial developments in Silicon Valley. From 2000 to 2005, Jake worked as a Redevelopment Project Manager at the City of Fremont, implementing a $51 million Fire Safety Bond program and engaging in community-focused redevelopment initiatives. Jake's career began at LECG as an Associate, where expert economic analyses were produced for telecommunications and energy clients. Jake holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.A. in History from the University of Virginia.
