Emma Handy is currently a Laboratory Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a position held since September 2023, and previously served in the same role at the university from February to May 2022. In addition, Emma has been actively involved with the Carolina For The Kids Foundation as both the Schools Chair and a member since August 2022. Emma also holds the position of Sustainability Chair in Tri Delta from April 2023 to May 2024 and completed an internship with WSC | Heritage in late 2023. Prior experience includes working as a Server at Chapel Hill Country Club from February to June 2023 and as a Lifeguard for the City of Tallahassee during the summer of 2022. Presently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Emma has been enrolled since August 2021 and is expected to graduate in May 2025, following graduation from Leon High School in 2021.
