Kent Salomonsson is a Professor and Head of Research in Virtual Manufacturing at the University of Skövde. Prior to this role, Kent worked as an Associate Professor at Jönköping University. Kent also has experience as a Structural Analyst in R&D at Kongsberg Automotive and as a CEO at Evalcox AB. Kent's extensive academic background includes a Ph.D. in Applied Mechanics from Chalmers University of Technology. Kent's research interests span from crack propagation in different cast alloys to biomechanical analysis of pressure ulcers in human tissue.
