Bård Misund

Bård Misund is a Professor and Associate Professor at Universitetet i Stavanger (UiS) since 2015, focusing on research, teaching, and consultancy in areas such as project valuation, commodity price behavior, and financial statement analysis. Prior to UiS, Bård Misund worked at Statoil ASA from 2007 to 2015, holding various positions including Specialist in Energy Derivatives and Senior Petroleum Economist, where responsibilities included developing pricing methodologies for structured energy products and valuing investment projects. Bård Misund's academic background includes a PhD in Finance from the University of Stavanger and an MSF from the Norwegian School of Economics, alongside internships and consultancy roles in the seafood and finance sectors.
