Louis De Jaeger MBA serves as the Minister of Economic Development and Associate Minister of Health for Métis Nation British Columbia since January 2025. As a sessional instructor in First Nations Studies at the University of the Fraser Valley since September 2019, Louis contributes to academia while also serving on the board of Sto:lo Community Futures since 2014 and having previously held the position of Past-Chair of the Sto:lo Business Association. As a self-employed president of Snowdog Enterprises Inc. from 2004 to 2019, Louis focused on hospitality, Aboriginal mentorship, and business consulting, also owning the award-winning Bravo Restaurant and Lounge from 2004 to 2016. Louis holds an Executive MBA in Aboriginal Business & Leadership from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University, earned between 2016 and 2019.
