Leandra Lacy, MPH, CHES, serves as the Training and Technical Assistance Manager at Urban Institute since July 2021, focusing on collaborating with external stakeholders to identify and implement technical assistance strategies. Prior to this role, Lacy held several positions at the National Coalition of STD Directors, including Associate Director of Capacity Building & Member Engagement, where efforts were directed towards enhancing member engagement and improving technical assistance through a health equity framework. Lacy's background also includes research roles at Whitman-Walker Health and extensive experience in public health education and promotion through various positions at academic institutions and organizations, including Emory University and Planned Parenthood Southeast, Inc. Lacy holds a Master of Public Health from Emory University and a Bachelor of Arts in Women and Gender Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
