Lina Alathari

Chief, National Threat Assessment Center at U.S. Secret Service

Lina Alathari serves as the Chief of the National Threat Assessment Center at the U.S. Secret Service, a position held since August 2006, and has also contributed as a Supervisory Research Psychologist and Research Psychologist within the agency. Prior to this, Lina worked at the Northern Virginia Mental Health Institute from February 1998 to August 2006, where the role of Behavior Team Leader was undertaken. Lina's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuropsychology and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a focus on premedicine, both obtained from The George Washington University.
