Will Evenson's work experience includes the following roles:
- Scientist, DNA-Encoded Library Selections at Valo since June 2021.
- PhD Graduate Student and Research Assistant at the University of Southern California from July 2014 to May 2021. During this time, they worked on projects involving identifying cyclic peptides with high affinity and selectivity for mutant Ras and collaborating on the development of a microfluidic device for mRNA display.
- General Chemistry Laboratory Teaching Assistant at Pomona College from January 2013 to May 2014. William (Will) guided students through weekly labs and graded their work.
- Student Researcher at Pomona College from October 2011 to May 2014. William (Will) researched a mutant Psidin strain and attempted to identify the mutation causing the phenotype.
- Student Researcher at The Pingry School from October 2007 to June 2010. William (Will) led a team in designing a PCR-based lab to test a subject's ability to taste PTC by analyzing their DNA.
William (Will) Evenson began their education at The Pingry School, where they attended but did not complete a degree. William (Will) then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry at Pomona College from 2010 to 2014. Will furthered their studies at the University of Southern California, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry from 2014 to 2021.
