Luis Sierra

Luis Sierra is currently the API Chemical and Biological Commercialization Technology Head at Organon, having joined in January 2021. Additionally, Luis serves as an advisor at Varda Space Industries and has held leadership roles, including President and Executive Board Member of the North American Mixing Forum since June 2014. In June 2024, Luis will assume the role of Swiss Delegate to the EFCE Working Party on Mixing. Previously, Luis worked at MSD as Advanced Manufacturing Technology Lead and Global Lead Engineer, contributing significantly to new technology introductions and process optimizations. Luis's earlier career at Merck & Co., Inc. involved various project chemical engineering positions, focusing on crystallization processes and API manufacturing technologies. Luis holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez, completed in 2004.
