Joaquin Paredes has been working in the information security field since 2005. Joaquin began their career as a Networking Specialist, Field Engineer at Transistemas in 2005. Joaquin then moved to Cybsec S.A. in 2006 as a Network & Information Security Consultant in the Managed Services area. In 2007, they became a Network & Information Security Consultant in the Network Security Support area at DESCA. Joaquin then moved to Core Security Technologies in 2010 as a Senior Information Security Consultant in the Security Consulting Services area. In 2015, they joined VerSprite Cybersecurity and has since held the roles of Director of Offensive Security Practice, Offensive Security Team Lead, and Managing Consultant.
Joaquin Paredes has obtained three certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP), and Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA).
