Emily W. Murphy

Emily W. Murphy has extensive experience in government operations, acquisitions, and legislative policy. Notable roles include Administrator and Senior Advisor at the General Services Administration from January 2017 to January 2021, and Professional Staff Member for the House Committee on Armed Services, where expertise in acquisition reform was developed. As Policy Director and Senior Counsel for US Congress from 2011 to 2016, Emily established legislative agendas and directed policy staff. Earlier positions include General Counsel at TerreStar National Services, General Counsel responsibilities at TerreStar Networks, and roles at both the US Small Business Administration and Wiley Rein LLP focusing on government contracts.
