Mark Fernie has a diverse work experience spanning over the past 15 years. Mark started their career at Cambridge Positioning Systems as a Software Engineer in 2005 and continued until 2008. Following that, they joined Quiet Revolution as a Principal Aerodynamics Engineer from 2008 to 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Contract Web Developer at Potato until 2013. Mark then moved on to Invetech, where they held the role of Associate Principal Software Engineer from 2013 to the present. Most recently, they joined Vivi in 2018 as an Engineering Manager. Overall, Mark Fernie has gained expertise in software engineering, aerodynamics, and management roles throughout their career.

Mark Fernie completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) and Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science, respectively, at the University of Melbourne from 1995 to 1999. Mark then pursued a PhD in Engineering at the University of Cambridge from 2000 to 2005.
