Maria Roat

Maria Roat currently serves on the Board of Directors for VETSports Inc. and On Mission IT, as well as on the Board of Advisors for Aquia Inc. and as President of MA Roat Consulting, LLC. With significant experience in federal information technology leadership, Maria held roles such as US Deputy Federal Chief Information Officer at the Executive Office of the President and Chief Information Officer at the U.S. Small Business Administration. Maria’s extensive background includes directing the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program at DHS and senior leadership positions in various capacities within the US Navy, culminating as Command Master Chief. Maria holds a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems and has completed executive education at Harvard Business School and the US Navy Senior Enlisted Academy.
