Jeremy Markovich

Jeremy Markovich is a communications professional with extensive experience in journalism and media. Currently serving as the Director of Communications for the Program for Leadership and Character at Wake Forest University since April 2021, Markovich manages a comprehensive marketing strategy and communications program. In addition, Markovich is an adjunct professor of journalism, focusing on magazine writing. As the creator and writer of the North Carolina Rabbit Hole Newsletter, subscriber growth has expanded significantly under Markovich's direction. Previous roles include Digital Manager at Our State Magazine, where a digital strategy was developed; contributor to SB Nation, with recognition for the work "Elegy of a Race Car Driver"; columnist for Charlotte Magazine, earning multiple awards; and producer at WCNC Charlotte, supervising special content. Markovich's early career included news production, reporting, and photography at various media outlets. Markovich holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Ohio University.
