Marketing · Austin, United States

Job description

About Us:

We believe that the future of Al is distributed and enables real-time data processing at the edge, closer to where data is generated. We are building a future where a company's data and IP remains private and it's possible to bring large models directly to consumer hardware without removing information from the model.

About the Role:

webAI is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Field and Event Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. In this critical role, you’ll be responsible for planning and executing a range of events—from sponsoring major trade shows to organizing regional dinners and workshops. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to deliver high-quality events that engage our ICP, enhance brand awareness, and contribute to pipeline growth.

This role requires a hands-on professional with strong project management skills and a passion for creating impactful in-person and virtual experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute a diverse portfolio of field marketing activities, including in-person events (dinners, workshops, trade shows) and virtual events (webinars).
  • Manage webAI’s presence at third-party industry events to build awareness, generate leads, and accelerate deals.
  • Collaborate with sales to ensure event strategies align with account targeting and pipeline goals.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to create event materials, including landing pages, email campaigns, and promotional assets.
  • Oversee all event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, branding, and on-the-ground execution.
  • Track and measure event success, reporting on key metrics such as attendance, registrations, and pipeline impact.
  • Experiment with additional field marketing channels, including direct mail or hyper-targeted ABM efforts, to enhance event ROI.
  • Act as the point person on-site at events, managing setup, attendee engagement, and teardown.

Requirements and Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, or a related role.
  • Proven ability to plan and execute in-person and virtual events of varying scales.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot and event platforms.
  • Metrics-driven mindset, with the ability to measure and report event success.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience collaborating across teams, including sales and marketing.
  • Willingness to travel and assist with hands-on event execution, including evenings and weekends when needed.
  • Passion for creating engaging, memorable experiences for prospects and customers.
