Vice President at Wings of Hope

Laura Helling has had extensive work experience in the field of arts and culture. Laura started their career as a Cultural Art Supervisor at the City of St. Peters, MO in 1996 and held this role until 2005. Laura then joined the Foundry Art Centre as an Assistant Executive Director from June 2005 to February 2009. In March 2010, they became the Executive Director of the Foundry Art Centre and served in this position until July 2013. Afterwards, they joined Wings of Hope as the Director of Development from 2013 to August 2017. Subsequently, they were promoted to Vice President at Wings of Hope and continues to work there.

Laura Helling earned a Master of Arts in Nonprofit Management from Washington University in St. Louis.

Wings of Hope

Wings of Hope changes and saves lives through the power of aviation. In the U.S., the nonprofit provides medical air transport services – free of charge – to individuals who need access to specialized medical care. The organization also works in 10 countries outside of the U.S., working with in-country partners to fly people in remote areas to emergency medical care and fly doctors into communities with no local health care.
