Ajia McAferty, MPH, currently serves as the Senior Manager for Coalitions & Partnerships at WithinReach, focusing on immunizations and prenatal-to-three initiatives. Prior experience includes roles such as Systems Manager for Immunizations at The Pacific Crest Trail, where McAferty undertook a transformative sabbatical to enhance personal well-being, and Project/Program Manager II at Public Health – Seattle & King County, leading COVID-19 vaccine outreach strategies. McAferty also held supervisory positions during the COVID-19 response at Shasta County Health and Human Services Agency, overseeing contact tracing and testing operations. Early career experience includes roles in research, community education, and patient care coordination, all complemented by a Master’s degree in Public Health from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Seattle Pacific University.
