David Simpson

David Simpson has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. David began their career as a Software Developer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise in 1998 and worked there until 2002. Following that, they joined Standard Life Investments as a Database Developer for three years before moving to Wood Mackenzie in 2005. At Wood Mackenzie, David held various roles including Database Architect/Developer, Database Team Manager, Technical Data Architect, and most recently, Director of Engineering. David'sresponsibilities included overseeing database projects, investigating new technologies, performing proof of concepts, and managing data solutions. David's work at Wood Mackenzie involved collaborating with multiple stakeholders, vendors, and budget allocations.

David Simpson earned a BEng in Software Engineering from Edinburgh Napier University from 1995 to 1998.
