Rose Luckin is the Founder and CEO of EDUCATE Ventures, a position held since January 2020, and Co-Owner of EducAItional Ventures Ltd since August 2019. As a Professor of Learner Centred Design at the UCL Institute of Education, involvement spans from January 2006 to the present, including a previous role as Director of UCL EDUCATE from January 2017 to December 2019. Additional governance experience includes serving as a Trustee and Governor at St Paul's School from 2011 to July 2019. Prior academic leadership included a role as Pro Vice Chancellor at the University of Sussex from October 2003 to January 2006. Rose Luckin earned a BA and PhD in Artificial and Cognitive Science from the University of Sussex between 1990 and 1997.
