ANNE KEISER is a freelance photographer. She was a staff photographer and photo editor at National Geographic Society. In addition, she was the photographer of Sir Edmund Hillary and the People of Everest, a book that highlights Sir Edmund’s environmental and community work with Sherpas. She helped produce two children’s books, To Everest and Beyond and Triumph on Everest. Keiser serves on the boards of the Choral Arts Society, the Greater Himalayas Foundation, the Smithsonian Women’s Committee, the Holton-Arms School, the Washington Tennis and Education Foundation, the Middle East Institute, the Sulgrave Club and Chorus America. She is a graduate of Middlebury College.
