LESLIE COOLIDGE retired as an audit partner with KPMG LLP. She is a certified public accountant in Illinois and New York. Coolidge ran for the US House of Representatives in 2012. She is a member of the board of trustees of the Chicago Academy of Sciences and its Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum in Chicago, and is an emeritus director of the International Crane Foundation (ICF). She has traveled with WWF to China, Bhutan, the Amazon, the Northern Great Plains, and Peru; to Churchill, Manitoba, to see polar bears; and to Pt. Pelee and Michigan to see warblers. With ICF, she has visited crane habitats in Russia, India, China, Mongolia, and the United States. She received a BA in government from Harvard University and an MS in accounting from New York University.
