Randy Magen is currently serving as Dean at Yeshiva University since July 2023. Prior to this position, Randy held various roles at Boise State University School of Social Work, including Professor and Director from July 2015 to July 2023. From August 2012 to July 2015, Randy was Associate Dean for Curriculum at the College of Health, University of Alaska Anchorage, and also served as a Professor at the University of Alaska Anchorage from August 1998 to July 2015. Randy began academic career as an Assistant Professor at Columbia University School of Social Work from 1992 to 1998. Randy holds an MSSW and Ph.D. in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earned between 1985 and 1992, and a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic and Intergroup Relations from Michigan State University, completed in 1979.
