Executive Vice President, Head of Corporate Affairs, Zeno East
We are seeking an Executive Vice President to lead our Corporate Affairs Practice in our New York office. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support and expand our portfolio by engaging with existing corporate clients across a range of industries. You will work closely with a team of specialists in reputation management, crisis communications, employee engagement, and purpose and impact. This role requires someone who can think strategically, act decisively, and inspire their team. We are looking for a master of the craft—an exceptional people leader, a skilled client counselor, and a proactive business developer who will roll up their sleeves and stay close to the work.

About the Role:
- Business Development: Cultivate new business opportunities within Corporate Affairs and related practices, leveraging your network and expertise to identify and secure new clients.
- Client Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior-level clients, providing sound creative and strategic counsel. Demonstrate a proven track record of leading large, complex accounts successfully.
- Team Leadership: Drive a culture of learning, mentoring, and development within the team. Act as a mentor and foster an environment that encourages growth and continuous improvement.
- Strategic Planning: Develop visionary plans for clients, using strategic thinking and an understanding of market trends to drive success.
- Media Relations: Create and execute media relations strategies for high-profile programs, leveraging both traditional and non-traditional media.
- Growth and Expansion: Identify organic growth opportunities within existing clients, expand the scope of work, and collaborate across practices to deliver integrated solutions.
- Financial Management: Maintain financial responsibility for accounts, including forecasting, profitability targets, and budget management.
- Thought Leadership: Lead knowledge sharing across the agency, keeping the team informed of industry trends and best practices.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with both client contacts and internal agency partners.
About You:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Corporate PR, with a history of success in corporate communications spanning multiple industries.
- Senior level Communications/PR Agency experience is mandatory.
- Proven success in new business development, with a strong professional network and a demonstrated ability to win new clients.
- Strong experience leading large client accounts, with a history of providing creative and strategic counsel at senior levels.
- Exceptional leadership abilities, with a focus on fostering a learning culture and mentoring team members.
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills, with experience delivering new business pitches.
- In-depth knowledge of reputation management, crisis communications, employee engagement, and purpose-driven initiatives.
