Heidi Potts is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in the field of nanoscience and advanced test and measurement technologies. Currently serving as Lead Application Scientist at Zurich Instruments since May 2021, Heidi leads a team focused on technical pre-sales and post-sales customer support, while also developing marketing content and providing technical advice to researchers. Prior to this, Heidi held a postdoctoral position at Lund University, where significant research on spin states in quantum dots was conducted, resulting in publications in peer-reviewed journals. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from EPFL, along with Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Nanoscience from the University of Basel. Additional experience includes roles as a visiting researcher, teaching assistant, and substitute teacher, underscoring a well-rounded expertise in both research and education.
