Sara Branson

Sara Branson is a Senior Applied Scientist at Afresh since June 2022, where notable contributions include leading research on forecasting promotions with a 23% performance improvement, presenting findings at the INFORMs Annual Meeting 2024, and holding a patent pending on a data aggregation technique. Prior roles at Afresh involved significant achievements as a Machine Learning Engineer II and I, where Sara developed forecasters for new products, improved forecasting accuracy, and independently managed holiday forecasting. Earlier experiences include serving as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Washington, an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Research Intern at Aarhus University. Sara holds a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
