Big Red Group is seeking an experienced Head of People & Performance to lead and inspire our people strategy during a transformative phase of growth. This role is perfect for a leader who thrives on driving high performance, engagement, and capability in a rapidly scaling business that blends the innovation of a tech-driven platform with the momentum of the travel and experiences industry. We are team of 120 with big ambitions, so well suited to a leader with SME and global experience. The role is based at our Sydney HQ, we work Hybrid and our leaders are onsite minimum 3 days with the team.
About the Role
As the Head of People & Performance, you’ll partner closely with the leadership team to build and execute a forward-thinking people strategy that aligns with our ambitious goals. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will collaborate with leaders and people managers across the business to shape our culture, performance frameworks, and leadership capability. Your leadership will be critical in ensuring we attract, develop, and retain top talent as we evolve into a platform business, integrating the agility of SMEs with the structure of a more mature, growth-oriented tech or travel enterprise.
In this role, you will lead a team of 3, enhancing people performance, engagement, and leadership across the group as we prepare for 2025 and beyond.

About You
You are an inspiring leader with hands-on experience, comfortable navigating the complexity of a growing platform business. You have experience in both SME environments and more mature tech or travel businesses, making you adept at balancing agility with the need for scalable, robust frameworks.
