Job description

Growing public accounting firm is seeking full-time tax staff associate working in the office, hybrid, or remote work arrangements with the following attributes:

  • Excellent client interaction skills;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Provide timely client service, deliver high-quality work, and strengthen client relationships;
  • Ability to actively take notes, ask questions, suggest ideas, and follow instructions to perform high-quality tax work;
  • Be proactive and actively seek opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge of tax laws;
  • Assist in researching accounting and tax matters, and document conclusions;
  • Assist in drafting tax returns;
  • Possess great organizational skills and keep superiors informed of the work progress;
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements and deadlines;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

In addition to the above attributes, a qualified candidate should have the desire and capability to work collaboratively and openly with others in the team environment. 4-year bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, or related field.  Qualified candidates must be eligible and willing to sit for the CPA exams. Experience in public or private accounting is a plus. Must possess intermediate knowledge of Microsoft word and excel.
