What we do
The impact you’ll own
As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the financial model, ensuring its accuracy and relevance while supporting strategic FP&A activities. Your analysis and input will be pivotal to decision making and the direction of the company. You will oversee the functionality of the accounting system and month end, resolving any issues and ensuring it supports day-to-day operations.
You will collaborate with external accountants to ensure accurate and timely reporting, and you will manage the processing of invoices (through to cash collection) and payments (of vendors and employee expenses) to ensure smooth financial operations.
You will also work closely with the sales team to generate accurate invoices verify sales commissions. You will help ensure tax compliance for both the UK and US, maintaining proper tax records and performing accurate calculations. You will maintain well-organised spreadsheets to track tax obligations and vendor payments. You will also manage vendor payment schedules and assist in producing management accounting reports.
Beyond finance and accounting, you will work closely with the Senior Leadership team to monitor and analyse key SaaS metrics (including ARR growth, NRR, CAC etc.) and provide actionable insights and recommendations, and deliver detailed month-end reports to support leadership and the board in decision-making.
Your role will also be exposed to various strategic operations for the business, including ownership of our ESOP, supplier onboarding, building new operational processes as well as supporting the commercial team. This is an opportunity to learn the ins-and-outs of working in a fast-growing international scale-up as the 2nd finance hire.
