Benjamin Miko

Benjamin Miko serves as the Program Director for the Fellowship Training in Infectious Diseases and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Columbia University in the City of New York since July 2012. Additionally, Miko functions as a Health Advisory Group Member at The Public Theater and holds the position of Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations. Miko has also been an Attending Physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, contributing to the field since 2012. Prior medical training includes a fellowship in Infectious Diseases, residency in Medicine, and an internship at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine from Boston University, a Master of Science in Biostatistics from Columbia University, and a Diploma in Tropical Medicine & Hygiene from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
