Justin McFarlin

Justin McFarlin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in national security, strategy, and engagement. Currently serving as the Head of APAC Strategy & Engagement at AeroVironment since November 2024, McFarlin is also a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations and has held the National Security Fellow position at the Truman National Security Project since January 2012. McFarlin's previous roles include Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense at the United States Department of Defense, where responsibilities encompassed managing a $50M budget and coordinating international engagement strategies. Additional experience includes leadership positions at L3Harris Technologies, Monitor Deloitte, and AdmitLink, along with a solid educational background featuring degrees from Harvard Kennedy School, The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, and the United States Military Academy at West Point.
