Stephen Lam

Stephen Lam serves as the Managing Partner and General Counsel at SoftBank Group International since October 2018, where additional titles include Partner and Director. In June 2023, Stephen became a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations and joined the Singapore Venture & Private Capital Association as an Advocacy Committee Member in March 2024. Other current affiliations include participation in the Young Patron Council at Asia Society and being a Charter Member of TechGC. Prior legal experience includes positions at Morrison & Foerster LLP and Sullivan & Cromwell LLP. Early career experience involves working as a Management Consultant at Monitor Deloitte. Stephen holds a JD cum laude from Harvard Law School and a BSFS in International Politics from Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service, complemented by an education from Princeton High School.
