Stephen Ryan serves as the Director and Chief Engineer for Multi-Domain Solutions within Northrop Grumman’s Strategic Space Systems Division, focusing on space systems that support air, land, and maritime operations. With a robust background at Northrop Grumman, Stephen has held various leadership roles, including Senior Manager for Systems Engineering & Integration and Advanced Autonomy, where responsibilities spanned mission engineering, program execution, and complex payload integration for significant defense programs. Prior to Northrop Grumman, Stephen contributed to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency as an Intelligence Subject Matter Expert and Analyst, supporting operations and developing methodologies in Activity-Based Intelligence. Academic credentials include an M.S. in Systems Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, along with degrees in Security Studies and International Affairs from Georgetown University and The George Washington University, respectively. Additionally, Stephen is an active member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Truman National Security Project’s Defense Council.
