Kuan-Yu Chu (朱冠宇) has over a decade of experience in software engineering and technical leadership, currently serving as the Director of Engineering at DataVisor since December 2015. In this role, Kuan-Yu leads the platform team in developing backend detection pipelines, release systems, and internal tools, utilizing technologies such as Spark and Kafka. Prior experience includes positions at Microsoft as an SDE II in the Bing image understanding team, roles at HTC as a Software Engineer, and internships at Google and Yahoo!. Kuan-Yu holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from National Taiwan University, completed in 2013 and 2011, respectively.
