A DAY IN THE LIFE!

Build your career as a diesel technician! Perform preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance. You will own the reseating process by leading trucks through the initial inspection, services, repairs, and final inspection, equipping drivers for success with trucks that are ready to move. You will also crack the code on issues reported by the drivers by diagnosing and repairing the issue.

As a technician, you are confident in your ability to complete routine preventative maintenance and basic corrective repairs. You understand the importance of completing work efficiently and safely. You are a team player who does not hesitate to support your fellow technicians with questions. You are seeking a position that will allow you to join a hard-working team of world-class technicians!

YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete preventative maintenance on Peterbilt, Mack, and International tractors including oil changes, filter services, APU services, DOT inspections, power steering services, and other preventative maintenance.
  • Corrective maintenance on heavy equipment including body panel replacement, electrical diagnosis and replacements, power steering issues, driver monitoring equipment issues, and much more!
  • Diagnose issues with fleet equipment using diagnostic software.
  • Utilize the maintenance software to review services due, repair history, and create repair orders.

YOUR SKILLSET

  • The ability to manage your time effectively and prioritize multiple projects in an environment with shifting deadlines.
  • Extensive experience using both hand and power tools.
  • Comfortability utilizing computer software for diagnostic and documentation purposes.
  • The ability to work on a large team and coordinate with multiple different positions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • 1+ year(s) working on heavy equipment.
  • A complete set of tools.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ year(s) of experience within the transportation industry.

SALARY AND SCHEDULE

  • Salary: $21.47 – $32.05 per hour, decided based on experience (rate includes shift a differential).
  • Schedule: Full-time on-site; Thursday - Sunday (Thursday - Friday 10:00 am - 7:00 pm | Saturday - Sunday 07:00 am - 5:00 pm); Overtime eligible.
